As the head of Roscosmos stated, “99.9% of these sightings are some kind of atmospheric or other physical phenomena that are not related to the real hypothesis of the appearance of UFOs.”
Scientists at the Russian Academy of Sciences are investigating the facts of the appearance of so-called UFOs in the history of mankind. This was announced by the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
“If we talk about specific facts that, perhaps, in the history of mankind there were so-called UFOs on Earth that NASA is talking about, then I want to say that these studies were carried out and are being conducted in our [Russian] Academy of Sciences, including facts are being collected, they are checked,” Rogozin said on the air of the Rossiya-24 TV channel on Saturday.
According to the head of Roscosmos, 99.9% of these are some kind of atmospheric or other physical phenomena that are not related to the real hypothesis of the appearance of UFOs.
“But we admit that such phenomena could take place,” he stressed.
Rogozin added that he was personally acquainted with the testimonies of pilots who saw unusual phenomena during test flights in the 70s, then took a pencil, paper and sketched what they saw.
“Usually, what we are talking about appeared during the first test flight. I spoke with NASA, there are also supporters of the idea that we may be the object of external surveillance. I would like to believe in it,” added the head of Roscosmos.
Earlier, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that it would undertake its own study of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) from a scientific point of view.
